I feel pretty much fine now, except that I have a bad cough. It probably has nothing to do with smoking cigarettes, does it? Anyway, I ate like an entire bag of cough drops over the past day.
Still reading Comp City, although I skimmed over the last 1/4 of it already. It’s kind of cool, I guess, but some of it seems kinda shady. Still a pretty fun read - Max Rubin isn’t going to win any literary awards, but his slang is colorful and gets you all jeetered up about going to Vegas.
I watched part one of the Battlestar Galactica “re-imagining” mini-series on SciFi, and I’m going to watch the second part tonight. I never really watched the first one (or if I did, I don’t remember it). It’s pretty good.

I am all about to each his own but I have seen the effects of cigerettes on old people. If you are coughing now imaging being 80 years old, hooked up to a breathing machine with a tube stuck through your throat and having trouble breathing. My grandma to me to the nursing home she worked at when I was 15 and an old woman pointed to me in the whispey of voices and said “Honey don’t ever start.” The image of her has stuck in my mind. Dying in a hospital gasping for air is not the way I want to go. Anyway, just consider it. I like you so consider your health pls.
