chicken a la king

Who the hell eats Swanson brand Chicken a la King in a can? There’s always about four cans at the local Albertsons, and you can’t even get it at Vons.

I buy a can about once every four months. It’s probably the worst possible food for you, ever. But goddamn, that shit is tasty as hell. Jam it on top of some toast and it’s like eating crack, except it’s not illegal.

I’d link to it, but Swanson doesn’t even have any product information for it on its Website.

So, my new goal is to find out:
* What exactly is in Chicken a la King?
* From what geographic region and socioeconomic class did it originate?
* Who else eats it in Los Angeles besides me?

I have to get ready for work now, but rest assured that once I have some free time, I will be on the case. Thank you.

It’s probably better that you don’t know that information or else you might not enjoy ala king ever again.
P.S. I don’t eat it. I’m not sure if that helps your survey.
P.S.S. I hope you don’t get hit during the layoffs but I must say my little sabitical has been nice.
