One of the movies I worked sound on last year is going to be screening in a couple of weeks:
Robin Harris: We Don’t Die, We Multiply
Sunday, February 13
4:30 P.M.
Magic Johnson Theaters at Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza
4020 Marlton Avenue, Los Angeles, CA
It’s part of the Pan African Film & Arts Festival. I don’t know what the admission is yet. When I find out, I’ll post.
Not sure if I’m going yet, but if you like Robin Harris or want some stories about Black comedy in Los Angeles in the late 80s/early 90s, this is a pretty cool film.

He’s the one that came out in HouseParty with Kid & Play back in the 80’s. His comedy is “old, black, long lost uncle, ghetto” comedy. Think “Steve Harvey” meets “Def Comedy Jam”. Off the hook!! Also, go check out/download “Bebe’s Kids” for reference.
He played the “Dad” on House Party.
Also remember “ruddy ray moore” type of comedy.
The bebe kids guy. I don’t know.
