Metallica finally gave in and put their music on iTunes. I bought “St. Anger” today as it seems it was always $17-$18 for the CD in the stores so I never got it before. Always happy to make Metallica a little richer than they already are. Good job boys.

In super heavy rotation: “Alligator” from the National. Absolutely fantastic record. Can’t wait to see them when they come to LA in October.

Just a reminder that if you haven’t done it recently, you might want to review your credit report. I just checked mine and found some names and addresses attached to my report that aren’t mine. Made a quick call to Experian and initiated a dispute, so we’ll see what happens.

You have the right to a free report every 12 months (sans FICO score) from each of the three major credit bureaus. You can get your report at www.annualcreditreport.com, which is the only site the government approves for this. There are tons of other sites out there that say they offer free credit reports but they’re usually attached to somebody’s trial offer for some credit protection service, which I don’t think you need if you review your reports using the free report site.

In other news - I’ve been alternately busy and lazy over the past month so that’s why there’s been no updates. Things are going fairly well so far. Will post soon.
