Free MP3s: Pitchfork Media’s Top 100 Tracks of 2007

Head on over to Pitchfork’s Top 100 Tracks of 2007 list - several of the tracks are available as downloadable MP3s for putting on your ‘Pod. As someone who is too old to keep up on bands these days, this is a great way to check out new music in a list culled by people who generally know what they’re doing.

My discoveries:

* Sally Shapiro, “He keeps me alive”
* Caribou, “Melody Day”
* LCD Soundsystem, “All My Friends”

    Have you checked out Pandora? You can’t download the shit but I find a lot of cool bands through it.
