I Think They Like Me

I just got word from the first bank that I am approved for a mortgage! I’m a bit relieved because every loan officer I talked to made a really big deal of my life as a digital nomad. One person just flat out told me to not bother applying (ironically, from the very same bank that has my checking and savings accounts).
Of course, nothing is guaranteed until I have keys, but I’m now on to the next step - actually looking for a place for real. Feels good, at least for today!
That is great news! Congrats! It really is a great feeling to own a home. There is just something cool about owning land and living on it. Anyway, can’t wait to see what you end up with! Loved your blog on the houses you visited.

Get a pole. It’s cheap.
TC is right poles are great and cheap. All you need to do is bury one end in the ground, attach a canvas to it, maybe put a zipper on the canvas and, viola, you have yourself a home. People do it all the time when they go camping. The pole is the most important thing though, so get a good one.
